It might. I have from time to time noticed that when I'm at home ( 9,000+ ft. in the Rockies ) my facial hair grows much quicker than when I'm in Santa Barbara California. I like traveling to places that are warmer because I can get a few more days out of each shave. This is just me, there a probably a lot more variables involved, such as activity level, age, diet, etc.
