As the Earth is spinning along a slant axis a spiral centrifugal force is responsible which throw the continents of northern hemisphere to the north-east side of the earth and the continents of Southern Hemisphere to south-east of the earth slowly.Thats why south-western parts of the earths plates are higher than the north eastern parts.

What is ballistic spin drift?

Ballistic spin drift is the tendency of a spinning projectile (such as a bullet) to drift slightly to the side due to the gyroscopic effect created by its spin. This effect influences the trajectory of the projectile and can cause it to deviate from its intended path at longer ranges. Shooters need to account for ballistic spin drift when calculating their shots for increased accuracy.

What does earth spin on?

what does earth spin on besides a inmaginary line? ============== Planet Earth rotates on its axis.

Does rifling cause the bullet to rise?

It can. The rifling in the barrel causes the bullet to spin. This usually keeps the bullet moving relatively straight (because of gyroscopic stabilisation). However, as the bullet slows down at longer ranges, the spinning can cause it to wobble and drift. This is called spin drift. Spin drift can be upwards, so yes, rifling can cause a bullet to go up, but only at extreme ranges.

Are 2fast 2 furious and the fast and the furious Tokyo drift spin-offs?

Does it take 22 hours for the earth to spin?

What is the difference of seafloor spreading and continental drift?

In continental drift it says that they were drifted apart by the spin of the earth and in seafloor spreading the earths crust is drifted apart by the ridges in the mid-ocean.

What is it called when earth spins each complete spin?

Each spin of the earth is called a rotation of the earth on it's axis.

What is earth spin?

The rotation of the planet on its axis of spin. The spin is responsible for the day and the night.

What does a earth spin on?

The Earth spins on an axis.

Does a day need time for the sun to drift completely around the sky or the moon to drift completely around the sky or the earth to turn completely on its axis?

A day is defined as the time it takes for the Earth to complete one full rotation on its axis, which is approximately 24 hours. The position of the sun and moon in the sky changes due to the Earth's rotation, causing the alternation of day and night.

Will earth always spin at this speed if no how will it change?

No. Tidal interactions with the moon are gradually slowing the rate of Earth's spin

How does the earth still spin when gravity ceases to exist?

The earth doesn't spin because of gravity, and gravity has not ceased to exist.
