Temporary hair color lasts from shampoo to shampoo....in other words, you shampoo your hair first, apply the color, and then the next time you shampoo your hair, the color will immediately wash out. This will occur with any color- whether dark or light. If you'd prefer a longer lasting color, which is fairly non-damaging, use a semi-permanent color.
