no because even u destoy the vents with guns u will make the necromorphs more not scary because u don destroy the vents they will make no boom or thuds

they do scare u by popping out of vents,doors , or necromorphs such as the one with blades (slasher) they formed dead necromorph but when u step on them ( not stomping as walking on them) some necromorph are not scary such as the one who turns the dead corpse into a slasher (with blades) the infector its a bat like necromorph
