No, he doesn't die. Lissa and Rose find Robert, and he tells them how to save a Strigoi, it involves staking them with a Spirit-Magic-Filled stake, and then a Spirit User (like Lissa/Adrian) which turns him back into a Dhampir. Lissa stakes him, and he turns back into a damphir. But cause of the spirit-staking thing, he is now in love/lust with Lissa, and doesn't even want to see Rose.
And rose gets accused of killing the queen what a shocker. That was a WTF moment. Can't wait till last sacrifice comes out on December 7 hells yea. And I do certinly hope lissa gets to be queen even though she is 18 it would be cool.
