Doing pull-ups will not help anyone to grow taller (although it may give a tiny temporary height gain in the way that any stretching exercise would give).

The height which an individual ends up at is primarily dictated by:

-genetics (it is very likely you will end up a similar height to your parents)

-diet (mainly, vegetarians tend to end up shorter than expected, and those who are overweight/obese during their childhood and teenage years tend to end up taller than expected).

-health (Anyone who is very ill during the period when they are meant to grow is likely to suffer stunted growth).
