I have tried drinking vinegar plenty of times because I have painful cramps. It really does work in one day but the next period may be a little heavier. It only works for a couple hours and your stomach may feel funny.
No it shouldn't stop your period but it may make you feel very sick and give you a lot of heartburn, not to mention quite bad breath.

∙ 12y agoVinegar is approx. 6% Acetic Acid. There is no reason that drinking any amount of vinegar would have any affect on your menstrual cycle. Do not drink vinegar in an attempt to stop your menses, why do you want to stop it anyway?
Please do not drink vinegar. Go see a doctor instead. If you want to try home remedies, try harmless ones. Vinegar is pure acid and will cause stomach ulcers if you drink it indiscriminately. Its alright in a salad dressing, not as a drink on its own.

Menstruation is determined by your menstrual cycle; changes brought about by different functions and hormonal changes between your reproductive organs and your brain - there is nothing about vinegar that can change your menstrual cycle. Menstruation as a process once started cannot be abruptly stopped, especially not by vinegar.

Period is a constant thing which will happen every two weeks, however if the person has contraceptive pills this may stop your period only 4 some time but the person have to have them pills everyday.
