Do monster energy drinks have amphetamines?

No. Amphetamines are controlled substances and can only be distributed with a prescription from a doctor.

It has been known in other countries with different laws, that amphetamines are contained within energy drinks. An example country which I know this is true, is Thailand.

Not even remotely. Drug tests that include tests for amphetamines would test for the presence of amphetamine or the derivatives of amphetamines in the blood stream. This means that there would have to be amphetamines in the energy drink for a positive test. As far as I'm aware, and I love energy drinks, there is not a single energy drink on the market that sells a product containing any amphetamines or amphetamine derivatives.

*****Actually, energy drinks can show a false/positive for amphetamines. They can do more testing and see what actually caused the positive for the amphetamine, but YES energy drinks can test positive for amphetamines.
