They are, of course, closely related. Eternity and immortality both refer to things which are un-ending. Eternity is more closely related to the idea of a state outside of time, and therefore it would exist forever without counting days or years. Immortality refers more to a persons place in eternity, where if one existed one would be free of the effects of days, years and age and therefore would be immortal (without death).
