Endocytosis DOES require the use of energy. In order to package and move material in and out of the cell, also in order to breakdown material, energy in the form of ATP is needed.

Do you use active transport in endocytosis or exocytosis?

Yes. Endocytosis and exocytosis are both methods of active transport that require the use of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) for energy.

Endocytosis does not require that the cell use ATP?

No, endocytosis is the storing of energy as opposed to exocytosis which is the use of energy.

What do primary active transport phagocytosis exocytosis and endocytosis all have in common?

They all require ATP in order to occur, and they all involve cell action.

What type of transport requires ATP to move molecules?

Muscle contraction , transport , nerve impulse conduction .

Does exocytosis require fusion of vesicles with the plasma membrane?

no

The processes of endocytosis and exocytosis both require what?

Endocytosis is accomplished by the release of hydrolytic enzymes from lysosomesExocytosis and endocytosis are accomplished by the energy from ATP. These are the processes that are respectively responsible for removing materials from and into the cell.Plasma Membrane

What is the process whereby molecules in vesicles are exported out of a cell?

Vesicles filled with a product are excreted from a cell by a process called exocytosis. The opposite is called endocytosis. Both processes require cellular energy (ATP).It is called exocytosis. In this process the Golgi complex packages the macro-molecules in to transport vesicles that travel to and fuse with the plasma membrane. This causes the vesicle to spill the substance out of the cell.It is called exocytosis. What action does not require the cell to use ATP?

Diffusion does not require the use of any ATP.

What are three types of active transports?

soduim potassuim pump, endocytosis, exocytosis

Does muscle relaxation does not require ATP?

Both muscle relaxation and muscle contraction require ATP.

Does Osmosis use ATP?

No. Osmosis is passive, meaning it does not require ATP.

What types of transport require ATP?

The two types of cell trnsport it Passive Transport and Active Transport. Active Transport does require energy to move into and out of the cell. Passive Transport doesn't require energy to move into and out of the cell. Hope I helped!
