Not that I know of. Why would that be necessary?
The Fender Stratocaster, often referred to as the Strat, is a model of electric guitar designed by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares in 1954.
EITHER IS GOOD FOR METAL BUT YOU MAY HAVE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS ON THE FENDER
The first Fender Stratocaster was designed in 1954 by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares.
there's a video on youtube that shows how to make frankenstien ( a fender copy of his original guitar ,a fernandes stratocaster) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuN2WzXfg34
I hope so because my 94 has a 40th anniversary badge on the headstock.
If you find a heavy gauge string is bending the neck, then you are probably either tightening it too much or the string was not designed for the guitar. It is generally best to buy strings designed for a stratocaster and Fender make strings designed for certain guitars.
Stratocasters are electric guitars made by Fender. They are mostly used in rock music, but can be used in many other genres. Fenders are not only made by Fender, but also by Squier. Squier is a company by Fender, but they make their products in Mexico, and not in California.
There are many different types of fender guitars. One is the Fender Stratocaster. The fender Strat. is what some people call the universal guitar. People call the Strat this because if you look at any type of music (jazz, rock, blues, funk, country) you will find at least one artest that plays a fender strat. I own an American Fender Stratocaster Deluxe and I love it. If you are a rock fan, then go with the Telecaster which was made to play rock music. Fender also makes acoustic guitars but they are not the best quality I think. If you are looking for an acoustic guitar then look at Ibanez. They make a good acoustic guitar. I hope that this helps. If you have any other questions about guitars, I would suggest looking in the fourms of this website. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/ This is the best website for all your guitar needs.
Instead of making a guitar from scratch, I think I would try to find a kit for a guitar, such as the kits that some music stores have for such instruments as the Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, and Fender Bass. These usually run $100-$150 for the kit. Other than that, you could try to buy all the components separately and assemble it, but it would be good deal more expensive that way.
Rick Springfield used a blue sparkle Fender Stratocaster on the Ryan Seacrest show. The Stratocaster is well-known for its versatility and iconic sound, making it a favorite among many rock musicians. Springfield's choice of this guitar adds to his classic rock image and showcases his signature style.
okay, for example, there is the Fender Stratocaster, this is a very common and popular guitar. Guitar companies who make beginners make whats called a "strat immatation" this is a guitar which looks pretty much identical to the real thing, but is a knock-off
The Fender Company, founded by the late Leo Fender. at one time they were controlled by CBS Broadcasting! These are solid body electrics and the neck is secured to the body with four phillips-head bolts. the materials cost alone is quite small, when I was in high school one guy scratch-built a workable (fender) guitar and the only real hang-ups in making the instrument was in the construction and pouring of semi-soft rubber for the fretboard. the basic cost of materials (wood) was not much more than $25 or so. I think there was an article in a craftsman magazine which spurred the (Stradivarius-junior) into action- make your own electric guitar. the Fender Companymay well have taken umbrage and offense as it was clearly patterned after a Fender. This was in the early 70"s at Stevens Academy in Hoboken.
