Ah, the age old question. Really, these days, they are the same. What do you prefer is more the question? Used to be that gas would heat up quicker, the flame is instant and the old burners have to take a while to heat up. Spend some money on a newer unit and those puppies are instant and and ready to go. I prefer the consistency of electric, but then again, I'm an electrician.

YOU ARE RIGHT... BETTER USE ELECTRIC STOVE OR OVEN -- YOU KNOW WHY? I HAVE KNOWN MANY AND SOME ARE MY FRIENDS WORKING 15 - 20 YEARS IN AN LPG BUSINESS AS SALESMAN, TECHNICIANS THEY SHARE SOME SECRETS TO ME WHY THEY DON'T WANT TO USE THEIR OWN PRODUCT BUT CHOOSE TO USE ELECTRIC STOVE. THEY CAN GIVE GAS STOVES GIFTS DURING CHRISTMAS TO THEIR CLIENTS BUT THEY CANNOT AFFORD TO USE IT TO THEIR FAMILY FOR A CONTROVERTIAL NEVER BEEN DISCUSSED SCIENTIFIC REASON WHICH I WILL SHARE LATER ON.

Electric stoves heat food by electricity. When the stove is turned on electricity enters the coils on top and in the oven to cook food.

It is easier to cook with gas ovens because they are faster at cooking and boiling water, but they can also cook too quickly and burn your food. The recommendation would be to have a gas stove.

Because the stove burner conducts the heat through the pan to cook the food.

A gas stove makes it much easier for some one cooking to have a more precise temperature. However, if you're looking for something cheaper and easier to install, then an electric stove will be right for you.

A stove or a microwave. (Heat cooks food).
