Is fsx free?
On the website of the flight simulator ( Microsoft ) , their is an free demo with 4 airplanes and a part of the world where you can fly in ( carraibes ) . If you want the full version, you need to pay for it, but if you like , you can add more planes into your demo by flight simulator addons ( just type in google "fsx addons")

The term used is an "Auto Installer". Which means that when you download a FSX addon it will install itself without you needing to paste folders around manually etc. Its not easy finding these Auto installers Addons try http://www.flightstick.org or http://www.flightsimworld.com thy have some good downloads.

Its not default airline in fsx. If you have down loaded 3rd party addons you will need to uninstall and go through the full install again. Check with the forums that the add on came from for install tips
