The last we see of midna is she goes off into the mirror then destroys it with a tear but you cant save so midna will be with you next time you go on the game and explore Hyrule

∙ 12y agoshe doesnt die or get hurt like navi in loz orcarina of time navi cant die because she is your partner and compare midna to navi they both cant die they are partners only you can get hurt.

What happens at the end of twilight princess?
You encounter Ganondorf. He possess Princess Zelda and you fight her. Ganondorf then uses the power of the triforce of power to transform into the beast Ganon in which you fight as Wolf Link. Midna arrives to fight Ganon but he kills her. Then your inside Hyrule field where you chase Ganondorf around while Zelda shoots arrows at him. You then have a nice one on one with Ganondorf and you stab Ganondorf in the stomach. He dies (or gets sealed away) and turns out Midna is alive and no longer an Imp. Everyone is happy she then destroys the Twilight Mirror and you can never see her again. It's fine though because the game doesn't save once you beat it so it's like you never did anything at all.

No one knows except for Nintendo! Although, I highly doubt that Midna will return because at the end of Twilight Princess, she leaves to go back to her home where she serves as the Twilight Princess in the Twilight Realm. She says goodbye to Link and Zelda at the end and Zant is dead at the end so she doesn't really need Links help anymore. The evil has banished from the Realm.
