Find a dewormer that is carried in the pet stores or through your Veterinarian. It would be best to take your dog in for a check up along with a sample of his or her stool so that the Vet can check it out for internal parasites.

∙ 10y agoNo. Garlic may reduce the flea population for a short while, but it will not control it...plus, your pet will smell awful. If you are interested in natual flea control, seek out products made with the plant called penny royal. It is also not completely effective, but better than nothing. The only surefire flea eradication system is one of the modern chemical products, such as Frontline or Advantage. Check with your vet for his or her recommendation.

Might be possible. I know for sure that by means of a very fine talcum-like powder (based on silica) you can kill fleas. The powder acts dehydrating both onto living fleas and their eggs, they dry out. It also cloggs the breathing orifices of the fleas. I use such powder from time to time for my cats (occasionally fleas are "leaving the sinking ship" and move from a mouse to the cat just eating the mouse...). It is no poison, but acts biologically - so I prefer it. The powder is applied both onto the cat and its favourite sleeping place. Just ask a veterinary, whether you can use it also against bedbugs.

well in the wild most animals run through or roll in wild garlic and the flowers and folliage get crushed and unbelievable as it sound the fleas drop off. i guess the smell drives them away. warning! your dog etc. will stink of garlic for a while!
