Best Answer

no

Find a dewormer that is carried in the pet stores or through your Veterinarian. It would be best to take your dog in for a check up along with a sample of his or her stool so that the Vet can check it out for internal parasites.

No. Garlic may reduce the flea population for a short while, but it will not control it...plus, your pet will smell awful. If you are interested in natual flea control, seek out products made with the plant called penny royal. It is also not completely effective, but better than nothing. The only surefire flea eradication system is one of the modern chemical products, such as Frontline or Advantage. Check with your vet for his or her recommendation.

No, dogs should avoid garlic, and garlic powder is even more concentrated than fresh garlic, so it is best not to give that to your dog.

Can you feed a dog garlic?

No, garlic doesn't outright kill a dog. If given too much, a dog can get very sick, but it doesn't usually kill a dog. A little garlic powder sprinkled on a dogs' food has been suggested to help control fleas, so it doesn't hurt if there isn't too much garlic.

No garlic powder is not good at all for plants because it can harm the plants and kill them. P.S. Try using water instead of garlic powder. Sincerly, MoonlightApplesause@yahoo.com

Can baking soda kill fleas on cats?

yes baking soda is safe, as is talcum powder or baby powder. Both substances are good home remedies for killing fleas on your pet ... the powders will smother the fleas. When applying either powder, apply to the animals head first, which will prevent fleas from running towards the head as the powder is applied elsewhere.

Do talcum kill bedbugs?

Might be possible. I know for sure that by means of a very fine talcum-like powder (based on silica) you can kill fleas. The powder acts dehydrating both onto living fleas and their eggs, they dry out. It also cloggs the breathing orifices of the fleas. I use such powder from time to time for my cats (occasionally fleas are "leaving the sinking ship" and move from a mouse to the cat just eating the mouse...). It is no poison, but acts biologically - so I prefer it. The powder is applied both onto the cat and its favourite sleeping place. Just ask a veterinary, whether you can use it also against bedbugs.

Are there any natural ways to kill lawn ticks?

Get some nematodes, s. felitae are the ones you want. I've heard you can find them at garden centers, but I've had no luck so far. It's easier to find them online. http://www.arbico-organics.com/1220310.html I'm gonna try a mixture of garlic powder and cinnamon. Fleas and tick hate garlic powder and ants hate cinnamon. I'll let you know how it goes. Take care and good luck! Thanks for looking for natural options!
