yes,
they just generally hurt as they are creating a gap between your teeth.
on average your gums will swell up and you will have trouble eating.
You will have to get braces if your teeth are twisted but you don't have to get them until your 20,30 or 40 years old and your teeth can untwist if you lose all your baby teeth I think.
Hey :) Most people i know said that their braces really hurt after a few hours of having them on. However, i have had mine on for a week now and mine only hurt for the first few days and when i bit down. Don't worry! i think it depends on how crooked your teeth are to start with because mine didnt hurt and my teeth arent very crooked. Good luck! :D
Try to avoid eating chewy foods like chewing gum and toffee. I had separators in and they hurt try pain killers like paracetamol or cal-pol. I stuck to eating soups and pasta runny foods you don't have to chew and it just flows down your throat without affecting or disturbing your separators. Hope this works :) x
the orthodonstist put a blue rubber band at the tip of a tool that looked like scissors (but it wasn't scissors) and stuck the band inbetween my teeth the only pain was the pressure on my gums and the annoying feel of stuff inbetween my teeth. but if they have trouble putting in the rubber band, they attach it to floss, and floss in the rubber band then they remove the floss. it doesnt hurt until like an hour or so and then it gets to hurt bad so i took ibuprofen and the pain went away.
Yes, it hurts a lot ecpecially if it is your first time. It can sting around your gum line, and if you have crooked teeth it will hurt 10x more. So, it hurts A LOT! Well, when I got my braces tightened it did not hurt me at all! It may hurt afterwards for the first few days. After you get used to getting them tightened, it wont hurt at all afterwards. It only takes about 5 times to get used to it. Trust me, you will be fine :) It just takes some getting used to :) If you are wondering what they do to tighten them it is easy. Like I said, the process doesn't hurt but it may be a little bit sore when you are done. :)
it hurts some times but not always
It didn't hurt when i got my teeth whitened so i don't think it will hurt when you get braces
The stable buck hurt his crooked back when a horse kicked him.
Yes
Arthritis?
Yeah, kind of . Pinching . Ask the dentist for a topical anesthetic.
I don't really think that was the "answer" the asker was looking for. Take it from someone who has them. It could hurt for some people, they stick a separator in between two pushing teeth to make a space for your braces. If your mouth is over crowded, and has absolutely NO gaps, (like mine) then it could hurt because there is not enough room for a gap. If your teeth have gaps but your molars are pushing, I guess it wouldn't hurt MORE, because they can adjust easily, but it will hurt since your teeth aren't used to the position that the spacer will cause. I wouldn't know what it would feel like with gaps, because I have no gaps. Good Luck! <3 Carter
