If I have gotten my cartilage pierced does getting your nose done feel the same?

You nose is a little bit more sensitive, but essentially, it's all the same. You're still going through cartilage. The only thing that will happen no matter what is: Your eyes WILL water.
It's involuntary. But, it's pretty much the same.
Just PLEASE! Make sure you're getting it done by a professional with sterilized equipment and hollow needles, not some gun slinging sales associate at a department store!

∙ 12y agoit hurts less to get pierced but afterwards its really sore and this lasts for awhile. So i would say they are similar in a way. I have both of them done (:

Does getting your tragus pierced hurt?
It is a little bit more painful than getting your cartilage pierced which is extremely thick cartilage. if you haven't felt that pain, I wouldn't advise getting it done. However, it is a super cool piercing!! :) good luck ;D
Does getting your second lobe piercing hurt?
oh my gosh no! if anything, it hurts less. just don't freak yourself out. it's really nothing. oh, and you should think about getting your cartilage pierced! i personally think getting mine done hurt less than getting my lobes pierced! good luck! :)
After several months of having the upper ear cartilage pierced it still hurts. Is there supposed to be a small dent where the stud has been?
Pain and discomfort are part and parcel of getting the cartilage pierced with a piercing gun. The piercing gun user knows that they are not allowed to pierce ear cartilage with a piercing gun. Properly done cartilage piercing done by a professional body piercer would have been healed by now. The swelling is due to the stud backing being too close to the skin and not allowing the piercing to drain or breath properly.

I have had it done and im 14, it hurts a bit, i had it done with a needle and the most pain you are in is for abour 6 seconds :P
What hurts more getting your nose or ear pierced?
I haven't gotten my nose pierced yet but all my sisters friends have one and they tell me a nose piercing herts more but you may think the opposite. I am nine and i got my ears pierced when i was 3. it Hert after wards a little bit but when you get older it doesn't hert as much. I really want a nose piercing and a belly button ring and a second and third ear piercing. also i want a cartilage piercing on my left here are the piercings WANTED BY ME:::::: Nose bellybutton second third forth cartilage

I have my cartilage pierced and everyone said it would hurt SO much.. but i wanted it done so i did it anyways lol. & honestly to get it pierce it doesnt hurt.. you will obviously feel a little pinch but that's normal. After you get it done your ear will hurt for a while though.. you probably wont be able to sleep on which ever side you get pierced for about a month. After a month my ear was completely fine.. just make sure you clean it at least 3 times everyday. :)

it depends on your pain tolerance! a bunch of my friends do them on their own. they numb it with ice then stick the needle through! i just got 2 done with a gun...it's faster and less scary!

Just got the skin right where the lobe turns into the cartilage pierced ears have always rejected cartilage piercing maybe they snipped a piece of cartilage sightly red and a little swollen?
If the piercing was done with a piercing gun then that should answer the question.

You people always looking for deeper meaning with piercings, it means she didn't want to have the other ear cartilage done for what ever her reason could be, balance, earring choice, only she knows.

Any body piercing shop or tattoo shop that offers piercing services or Claire's. But, I have to say, it is preferable to get your cartilage pierced with a needle because a gun can shatter your cartilage.
Does the septum get pierced through the cartilage?
No it doesn't get pierced through the cartilage. I actually had a woman come in with a septum piercing that was done by a so called "body mods artist", the piercing was done through the cartilage and was causing all sorts of issues for the lady. Piercing the cartilage is actually dangerous in that area and more subject to possible infection. The actual piercing is between the exteriour meatus and the physical cartilage, the web between these structures is only the thickness of a dime, this is the area the piercing should be placed. Any other location and the piercing is done incorrectly. Do your research and be sure your piercing is done by an actual "professional body piercer" working in a licensed and inspected facility (not a kitchen on a Saturday night).
