I really think it differs from person to person, depending on their pain tolerance. I've had people tell me it doesn't hurt at all, and I've had other people tell me it sucks.
I didn't think it would hurt that much when I got it....prior to that I had my ears pierced twice. When they put the clamp on it hurt, and my skin went numb waiting for the piercer to properly line the needle up. When it went in, it felt like someone had cut me. Hurt more than I thought it would but it went away quickly. Just breathe deep, and relax. You'll be fine!
