yes it does hurt a lot for like 5 seconds only when he puts the needle and that's it .. but after that no pain i had mine and im happy with it .. its totally worth it if u really love piercings so don't be scared it's not that bad
yes it is bad, its not recommended by anyone to get a belly button piercing at a young age like 13. my sister is a doctor and says it is possible to get a disease by getting it pierced. if you want a piercing on your navel i think a good age would be 16 and over. -hope this helped
No it's not to much, a good piercer can make it happen.
LA piercing on 3rd street are good people. They are clean, expirienced and nice. They make you feel comfortable.
It is possible, but actually rare. Even people that dont have a very defined navel "lip" can still get a navel piercing; it is what you call getting a shallow piercing, meaning there is not much skin to pierce through. I have seen successful healing with shallow piercings, and I have also seen some that are not so successful. Talk to your piercer about whether or not it is a good idea for you to get one.
Don't know if its a "good idea" perse but it definitely hurts!!
Any good piercer won't allow you to get a hoop. If your piercer gives you the option then he/she doesn't really know what they are talking about and you need to find a piercer who will ONLY pierced you with a barbell. Hoops can get infected easier and migrate quicker. Barbells still have a huge risk of getting infected, because it is a navel piercing and they do get infected quite easily unless properly taken care of, but hoops can get infected much easier.
Unless you have a good reason for wanting to take out the jewellery (hospital x-rays), there should be no need to remove the jewellery from a navel piercing.
Its actually better to wait to get your navel done. You still have a lot of growing to do. If you get it pierced now, there's a high chance that it'll shift and the placement will be off. if it looks good/centered now, it will probably be crooked or thinned out later on.
It is a little bit more painful than getting your cartilage pierced which is extremely thick cartilage. if you haven't felt that pain, I wouldn't advise getting it done. However, it is a super cool piercing!! :) good luck ;D
No it's not, see claire's does something called silver piercing, and silver piercing isn't as good for your ears, and then after you get your ears pierced there they get very irritated and gross, and they hurt a lot, so get your ears pierced at a jewelers, or a doctor's. I agree. Claire's is an alright place to gt your ears pierced, but I would recommend Piercing Pagoda, because they specialize in ear piercings, and they have very high quality earrings. Claire's is a good place to get earrings after you have gotten your ears pierced, but, I would most recommend getting them pierced somewhere else.
No the piercing sounds like it's correct. The navel is a nest the gem in the navel should hang just about dead center, this makes the gem the egg in the nest. The point is not to have is look good for you trying to peer down at it, it's to have it look good to anyone who sees it on you. Perfectly placed navel piercing are meant to draw attention to your waist line not be the center of attention. So it sounds like your piercing is spot on and at 5'9" 150 lbs you are far from over weight.
infection! never use peroxide or alcohol to clean your piercing...it will cause the pierced skin to become dry, irritated & may cause a serious infection. I recomend that you get a pro to do your piercing. Basically as long as you take very good care of it you should be fine. Just pay very close attention when you piercer is instructing you on how to care for it. But remember, this is'nt your ear your getting pierced it's your navel so you're gonna have to take really good care of it.
