I had my nose pierced when I was 12. The pain is different for everybody depending on their individual pain threshold. But for me personally it didn't hurt very much. It stings slightly and will feel sore afterwards for a few hours. Your eyes may water also. Make sure you get it pierced with a stud that won't fall out and clean it regularly to help it heal.

The L shape is met to point upwards.I just got my nose pierced and it is the L- Shapednose stud. The piercing is supposed to be pointed upwardor else it is more easy to fall out.- i hope this helped

Right, so I'm 14 and I got my nose done yesterday. I was so frightened after reading people's reviews on how much it hurt, but honestly, it didn't hurt one bit, it's a tiny bit sore now, but that's obvious, a fresh hole in your nose is obviously going to hurt a tiny bit. I'm not good with pain, at all..but this piercing was about the same as getting my ear lobes pierced. Stretching your ear hurts a lot more than this. When the stud went in, I didn't feel any pain, and infact, I didn't know the piercing was complete. Get it done, you won't regret it:)
