Reply to above:I think he could returnbecause he could have gotten shot in the shoulder and only roach got gas poured on him not ghost so therefore he didn't get burned. So really Ghost could return for MW3.

Is ghost in modern warfare 3?
Ghost is dead, he got burned to death. And besides, he isn't in MW3 He may be in Modern Warfare 3, but many people think that he got killed in Modern Warfare 2. Ghost got shot in the rib area, pushed over or thrown on a ditch, then burned. If you have the game (Modern Warfare 2), then once you finish the level where Ghost got beat up, the radio intermission says that only Sgt. Gary "Roach" Sanderson gets killed it does not mention Ghost. I think he got away because he's Ghost, I think that he is the best. But I guess no one knows. So I just hope that he is alive. If he is alive the gamemakers will hopefully put Ghost in Modern Warfare 3. He's the best British soldier ever. I hope he is alive, even if he isn't in Modern Warfare 3. Ghost says in the beginning of the mission why do we have to where these FIRE PROOF VESTS!!!! So he was protected from the fire plus no gasoline was poured on him! And he was Turning around when he got shot by Sheperd and he got hit in the shoulder or hip NOT Face!!!! So that is a reason how he's not dead! And he might be in modern warfare 3 as a good guy or bad guy !! Watch The Trailer!! It's shows a man standing like ghost and it looks like him but it's kinda full of shadows. But their is a 70% chance that it's him! Hope it is!
