no he don't want you smoking that stuff its bad for you no he don't want you smoking that stuff its bad for you It is hard to say what God wants and doesn't want. He put it on this earth, didn't he? It's not crack or amphetamines that we created, playing God, It is a plant that people have used for ages. Some people use it for meditation to feel closer to God. Yes, some people abuse it, and of course God may not want that. However, people also abuse eating, so is God not wanting us to eat? I am not answering yes or no to this question.

∙ 12y agoYou are asking the wrong question. God loves everyone. He just doesn't like sin. Smoking weed is a sin because God made our bodies and everything he makes is good so why would you mess up your body. Obviously smoking weed is not good for you. Also The Bible says drunkards or people who do drugs period wont inherit the kingdom of God which is heaven. Meaning that since weed is a drug smoking it is a sin. The punishment for sin that you don't repent for is to spend the rest of your life in hell after you die.

This brings us to another text that helps us to see that taking drugs is not something a servant of God would want to do. Titus 2:11-12 states, "For the undeserved kindness of God which brings salvation to all sorts of men has been manifested, instructing us to repudiate ungodliness and worldly desires and to live with soundness of mind and righteousness and godly devotion amid this present system of things." Here we also see that we must live with soundness of mind. If we were to smoke marijuana, which impairs judgment and alters the mind after continuous use, would we be living with soundness of mind? In all actuality, we would not be. Therefore, servants of Jehovah do not use marijuana. I studied with JW`s for years and then stopped for this reason.. I must thank God Jehovah gave us marijuana. Billions of people throughout thousands of years have been using it to improve the quality of life if not save it all together. Jehovah said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. Genesis 1:29 I suffer from chronic fatigue and the reason why I can live a healthy life is because of Jehovah`s marijuana. I respect Gods instructions by not defiling it by letting anyone brainwash me into believing that God does not want me to use marijuana. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 1 Corinthians 6:19

its not banned in the entire u.s. as a matter of fact in California and New Mexico and a couple of other states your allowed to have marijuana as long as you have a medical card saying you can smoke it for medicinal purposes

Who could answer but god. I believe that a person can be saved. Sometimes this happens later in life after a person has gained an addiction or several addictions. It can't be right to smoke, (I somoke) it takes us away from people that want to be with us. It will kill......in more ways than is public knowledge. And if you're young it's hurting your parents. It's a God given' "must" that good parents want more for their children than for themselves. Smoking is a sin of the body. I don't believe god will condem us to hell, but I think it's an indication of more things we need to improve. And if we do love god, in time we'll find a way. And don't forget, god also loves the ones who love us. They want us to stick around. In my mind that is a reason.....and I think it will happen soon. God bless you........from a cable guy
