Yes, on both counts.
We had better ask how global warming will address Us.
No. No General Authority has ever mentioned global warming in a talk. The only Church-produced material mentioning global warming was published over 20 years ago in the July 1991 Ensign. It is in an article about caring for the earth, written by G. Michael Alder. At the time, he was the head of the Office of Technology Development for the state of Utah, and currently he is the director of Technology Transfer for BYU. You can read the article at the "Related Link" below.
Although it may sound stupid if the government (President and/or other people with a possession of authority) ban cars than it would possibly make global warming stop by 50%!!! but that probably won't happen.

No. Global warming is a very complex process that is part natural phenomenon and part human consumption/greed. It would take some really big changes for us to subvert what we have contributed and what we continue to contribute.
Global warming is part of environment. Social Studies is about environment so that is the reason. Many are claiming that global warming is a function of the behavior of a society. They claim that the planet is warming because of the greenhouse gases that are being created and that as a society we need to change our actions. It is only with absolute government authority over even the most personal aspects of your life that we can hope to stop, or even slow, global warming. Comparative economic and political systems is one facet of social studies.
No. No government in the world is doing enough to stop it.

It is not possible for the government to be hiding global warming from citizens. However, it can be said that the government is not creating enough awareness campaigns which will prevent global warming.

To stop Global Warming. They want to save the earth.
Global warming affects everyone on the planet by causing extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and loss of biodiversity. It is a collective responsibility to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adopt sustainable practices to mitigate these impacts and protect future generations. By working together, we can make a significant impact in addressing the climate crisis.
