Gravity effects heavier objects. In other words the heavier the object is, the more gravity effects the object which makes it heavy.

### Why do objects with more have greater weight?

weight is the effect of gravity acting on mass, the greater the mass the greater the effect on gravity will have on it therefore the greater the weight. eg. if the mass is 50kg and gravity is 10N the the weight is 500N,if the mass increases to 100kg the the weight would increase to 1000N

### Do earthly objects decrease in size on planets with greater gravity?

No. They increase in weight.

### How does weight affect gravity?

Weight is the force generated by mass when it is in a gravitational field. When a body is outside of a gravitational field, it is weightless but it still has mass.So gravity doesn't exactly affect weight; gravity causes mass to have weight.

### How does affect an object?

weight is the force gravity exerts on an object. Therefore, it means that the greater weight an object has, the greater force is needed to move it in the opposite direction.

### How does gravity affect the object's mass and weight?

Gravity affects weight, it does not affect mass.

### What is the difference in an objects weight on earth than on the moon?

On Earth there is gravity pulling objects down and adding weight. On the moon there is no gravity so objects are weightless.

### How would you explain your weightlessness of objects in outer space?

Objects dont have weight, its the gravity of whatever planet its on and its own gravity. If you were in space there would be no gravity therefore no weight.

### The greater the mass the greater the weight?

Yes. Weight = mass x gravity

### How is gravity and weight?

Weight = Mass * Acceleration of gravity. Weight = force of gravity on particular object. Weight = force of gravity on an object; Gravity = attracts all objects toward each other

yes
