There are a few places where someone can purchase a Suzuki GSXR 1100. The first place that is recommended is a Suzuki dealership. Some places online are sites like autotrader, and cars.
1-2-4-3 Andrasta.
tested speed is 174 mph or 279 kmh
Between 155 to 160 mph
If it`s one of the old models 1986 and up to 1991 I am sure it fits directly in the frame, sine I have a 1985 gsxr 750 myself with a tuned up 1100 engine, but it`s a dangerous bike because the frame is not stabil enough with so much power.
The Older Gsxr Do not use Oil.You subsititude it with A Mixture of Antifreeze and water! 50/50 mix..
change your motor oil. i would get it running and sell this 98. take the money and invest in a 86 gsxr 750 or 1100 .
i would fit it by not being shy about taking the front of the bandit.and then attempting to mount the gsxr 1000 front end in the bearing hole .make sure the bearings have no loose play of course.i would try to mount the gsxr bearings with the front if it fits.then tighten the main bolt to specs.if it feels rite then use the handlebars ,and brakes from the gsxr,i would also buy or use the gsxr rim with calipers. Bleed your brakes, check over everything 100 times for safety.mount all your handlebar electronic switches and throttle.basically just take it apart and reassemble with your gsxr front. If you cant do it you can put the original back together.Check out a magazine called Streetfighters printed in U.K. the mag costs $9.99 at the local mall book store.they do alot of these swaps.
You cannot modify a 2007 GSXR motor in a 2004 GSXR frame.
The owners manual of a US market 1996 960 states towing capacity as 1100 lbs. without brakes and 3300 lbs. with trailer brakes.
