Counter clock
In the Northern Hemisphere, hurricanes spin counterclockwise due to the Coriolis effect. In the Southern Hemisphere, hurricanes spin clockwise for the same reason.
counter clockwise to remove.counter clockwise to remove.
It's generally assumed that the direction clock hands move is derived from the movement of the shadow around a sundial. In the southern hemisphere, that movement is opposite from that of the northern hemisphere. If clockmaking had developed in Australia so that they became dominant in that craft, it is likely that clocks would be running in the opposite direction.
Hurricanes in the Northern Hemisphere rotate counterclockwise. This rotation is due to the Coriolis effect, which is caused by the Earth's rotation. As warm, moist air rises and creates low pressure at the center, surrounding air moves in to fill the void, resulting in the counterclockwise motion. In contrast, hurricanes in the Southern Hemisphere rotate clockwise.
Clockwise in Northern Hemisphere. Counterclockwise in Southern Hemisphere.
The brocken clock turned counter clockwise. The army wanted to counterattack Germany.
Counter clockwise is the opposite to clockwise , so if you think of a clock and it goes right , counter clockwise is the other way round so it's going left.
Clockwise
depends on if the wind is in northern or southern hemisphere
Seeing from the top when the tap is turned clockwise it gets closed and water stops. And vise a versa.
In general, it is Coriolis effect that initiates and maintains the rotation of a tropical cyclone. This phenomenon causes cyclones south of the equator to rotate clockwise, and those north of the equator to rotate anti-clockwise.
Turning something 'clockwise' would be turning it in the direction the hands on a clock turns. 'Counter-clockwise' would be turning it the opposite direction of a clock. I always remember anti-clockwise from clockwise, by which way a clock turns for clockwise, and the opposite way of a clock turning for anti-clockwise.
