No. There are many products available for managing frizzy hair. The oil based products seem to be the most productive. There are also smoothing shampoos on the market now that help with frizz.
Frizz control serum or spray wax.
Buy an anti-frizz spray.
Easy ! Use a curl relaxer (John Freida's range is good) then use a heat defence spray on it when it's wet. Blow dry and use straighteners. Finish off with a little gloss serum and you will have hair like Kristen's.
if you use staighteners or a hair dryer try using heat protection spray. it may help your hair. Or if you dont use special shampoos and conditioners that prevent frizz.
A flat iron is a straightener. Unless you are speaking of chemical straighteners. If so, chemicals are more damaging to the hair. Although flat irons are too if you are not properly protecting the hair with a serum or spray.

Spray could very well go into your eyes by accident so they have no-spray better to prevent spraying in eyes
I have have really frizzy hair too. Make sure you use lots of conditioner(not a coin sized amount). When putting your hair in a ponytail, leaving it open, putting it half up, etc use spray water in it. And remember don't freak out about it, it is just a phase.
use a straightening serum or a heat protection spray that you can get at most shops !!
