A headphone adapter will work when plugged into the heaphone output. It isn't designed to work on the input side, as most adapters are stereo, and the input on mixers is mono.
A headset
Head sets have speakers on two ears and a microphone. The speakers are output devices and the microphone is an input device. So if a headset is an input/output device.
This means its not connected to the internet. Check your network details on the Xbox, input them again maybe.
It depends - if it's just headphones, it's an output device. If the headset includes a microphone - it's both an input and output device.
Simply plug your camera feed directly into the input of the DVR system. These will be either RCA or BNC inputs. If your camera feed is a different format from the DVR's input, simply use an RCA-to-BNC adapter or a BNC-to-RCA adapter.
I'm pretty sure you can't do that. The headphone audio input and output comes from that little slot on the controller itself.
You cannot connect headset with a two 3.5mm jack with a one input 3.5mm jack. It is not made for a two jack connect.
A display ADAPTER is neither. The Display is an output device.
I assume by headset you mean something with both headphones and a microphone. I that case, it is both an input AND output device.
The components are not connected directly across the power supply. Instead they are 'daisy chained', the output of one leads into the input of the next.

Yes. You need a minidvi to VGA adapter. They can be purchased directly from apple for about $20 US dollars.
