Does heat and light occupy spaced?

Heat does not occupy space, as heat is just particles vibrating more rapidly. However, if you heat something up, it will occupy more space, due to its particles vibrating over a wider area.

Light is much more complicated due to the weirdness of quantum mechanics. Light is made of photons. They're particles but not in the same way that molecules, atoms, electrons, neutrons and protons are. Light can behave like waves of energy instead of particles. Normal particles such as electrons occupy a bit of space and 2 of them cannot occupy the same space at the same time.

A photon occupies the bit of space it's in, sort of, but another photon can occupy the same space at the same time. So if you have an electon-sized space you can put only one electron in it. If you have a photo-sized space you can put as many photons into it as you want.

Do heat and light can occupy space?

No, heat and light are forms of energy, not physical matter, so they do not occupy space in the way that physical objects do. They can be present in a space, but they do not have a fixed volume or mass like matter does.

Why heat can occupy space?

when heat occupieses space, the particles of heat are moving around in the space that they occupy

Why does heat occupy space?

Heat doesn't occupy space.

Why the heat occupy space?

Heat is a form of energy. It can be transmitted through space but it does not occupy space.

Why light does not occupy space?

Light is a form of energy and energy does not occupy space.

Does heat occupy space?

yes

What effect does adding heat have on particles?

Heat makes the particles more spaced out and make it move everywhere

Does light occupy space?

No, light is a form of electromagnetic radiation that does not have mass and therefore does not occupy physical space. It travels in a straight line until it interacts with matter.

What is the mass of visible light?

Light is a type of energy.Energies do not have a mass or occupy space.

Is the heat from a burning candle matter?

No, the heat from a burning candle is not matter; it is a form of energy. Matter consists of substances that have mass and occupy space, while heat is the energy transferred between objects due to a temperature difference. The heat generated by the candle results from the combustion of the wick and wax, which produces both thermal energy and light.
