Heavy water (water formed from deuterium and oxygen, not hydrogen and oxygen) does not have different taste. However its higher viscosity may give it a different "feel" in the mouth making it less palatable.

Yes, but it would not be wise. Due to the mass of the deuterium being twice that of the hydrogen in ordinary water, heavy water does not act the same as ordinary water. It will be toxic and very very large amounts will kill you. The main effect in humans is cell reproduction stops, resulting in symptoms similar to chemotherapy.
