I use the 810 medium ash blond i think. just to experiment (im a stylist) since it says its ammonia free is SHOULDNT lighten your natural color. BUT when i used it i found that it did. the color i used wasnt wasnt pigmented enough to darken my natural color so i figured it would just make my highlights look like a cooler blond and closer to my natural color. but now my regrowth (hair that hasn't been chemically colored) is slightly lighter and has a warmer tint to it. bummer. be careful with the product. it made my hair feel great but i was a little surprised it lightened it like it did. its VERY similar to a Paul Mitchell PM shine, which is a deposit only conditioning treatment..meaning it will absolutely not lighten your hair, but it add back proteins we strip out from heat and chemical abuse. If youre looking for something that's a little on the less expensive side id suggest finding a Paul Mitchell school. yes, a school. lol that's where i went and i promise they are very well trained and the teachers will help every step of the process.
