yup...more amount of cc certainly bring much power
That depends on the appliance and what you're trying to accomplish. Low watts mean that the appliance doesn't use much energy. Higher wattage appliances may be able to complete a task faster or operating on a larger mass. Smaller wattage appliances may be all you need if you're just preparing for a smaller group or if you aren't in a hurry. +++ The overall power consumption will be the same to perform the same task.
The equipment itself can not be converted as it would mean rewiring the motor to operate on 240 volts. The cost factor for a rewind would be too high. The amperage draw for this type of appliance is on the high side, so using a transformer is also out of the question because of the transformer's cost. If you do decide to use a transformer it will have to be sized to the Hoover wattage. Find the wattage of the equipment by multiplying its amps times 110. This will roughly give you the size transformer that you would need if you go that route.
It means that the earthquake is large and powerful.

Depends on what you mean by powerful. How many horsepower? And are we taking about electric motors or petrol or diesel or turbines, or what?
Wattage, you mean power. Power = V * I. V - the voltage and I the current.
Depends on the application. If you mean power, the higher the caliber, the more powerful it is. for example, a .22 caliber rifle is much less powerful than a .50 caliber rifle.
I'm guessing your talking car audio, and you mean the speakers have a higher wattage rating than your stereo output. its a good idea not to underpower speakers too much. the sound will be distorted, and you could possible damage the speakers. there are two ratings of wattage for speakers and amps. RMS and Peak watts. always build your system using the RMS wattage. its is the real wattage. the peak is only usefull in the labratory its built in. RMS is is constant ability to put out, or receive that power all the time. The impedence (ohm value) of the speakers is important, it should be the same as the amp.

Assuming you mean the type that was invented by Thomas Edison, it is the Incandescent Bulb. Light is given off by a coiled Tungsten filament that is heated by an electric current flowing through it. The amount of light given off is rated in Lumens, but most generally the consumer relates it to "Wattage". The higher the wattage the more light given off.
Powerful means: "Full of power"
An opposite of powerful is weak. An opposite of generous is mean or miserly.
If you mean powerful as in 'big explosion', than it has to be the blue shell. If you mean powerful as in harder to dodge, it is the lightning.
