There are two drug testing regimens a soldier could be run through.
The first is the test for illegal drugs, and that's the standard "SAMSHA-5"--pot, opiates, amphetamines, cocaine and PCP--plus two more drugs from a list of 35. The two additional drugs change from day to day. All soldiers are tested at least once a year. This test regimen won't show HGH.
The other is the steroids test, which is mostly given for "reasonable suspicion," although some units like the 3rd Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) are all tested. The test is expensive and is run at the US Olympic Committee's drug lab. This test WILL detect HGH.
So the answer is, yes if you get the right test but you probably won't.
Steroids and HGH (human growth hormone)
I do believe it is. It will definitely show up on a drug test which is mandatory in professional sport.
Abnormally now levels of human growth hormone (GH) result in dwarfism. Children can be treated with GH as a prescription drug.
Somatroph is a human growth hormone which enhances the pituitary gland to produce more HGH. There are no negative effects of this drug, as the dosage amounts are low.
Growth hormone (GH or HGH), also known as somatotropin or somatropin, promotes cell growth. It also has been used in doping to enhance athletic performance.
Somatropin is the nonproprietary drug name for the growth hormone somatotropin. If you really would like to take such drug you should first consult your doctor.
The growth of some breast cancer cells may be slowed by the drug tamoxifen, an anti-estrogen medication.
No it is not, it is naturally produced in your body in low levels. However like with any drug you will want to do it again if you have a good time on it.
Not unless it is given by a doctor for an accepted reason. Human growth hormone is a prescription drug. From the DEA website: "Human growth hormone is not controlled under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). However, as part of the 1990 Anabolic Steroids Control Act, the distribution and possession, with the intent to distribute, of hGH "for any use…other than the treatment of a disease or other recognized medical condition, where such use has been authorized by the Secretary of Health and Human Services…and pursuant to the order of a physician…" was criminalized as a five-year felony under the penalties chapter of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act of the FDA. hGH is listed by the World Anti-Doping Agency and the International Olympic Committee as a performance enhancing drug barring athletes from using it."
what drug can affect growth
No, it's a hormone not a drug
No. Sex drive is associated with testosterone, the same hormone associated with aggressiveness. Who wants a bunch of sissy soldiers?
