Hydrogen combines with oxygen when burned, forming H2O (water).
the hydrogen burned in the air to form water.
When Hydrogen is burned in air it combines with Oxygen to form water. 2H2 + O2 -> 2H2O
Petrol is burned in your car
sulphur dioxide is formed from sulphur compounds when petrol is burned
Hydrogen because it only gives off water and is easy to make. Petrol is bad for environment and is running out Edit: Hydrogen usable as a fuel (H2) may be "easy to make" but the amount of energy you would consume in making the H2 would be greater than the amount of energy you would get back when you burned the H2.
hydrogen
As hydrogen releases more energy than petrol, H engine is more powerful than petrol .
Petrol
Simple! Hydrogen.
yes it is
The main benefit of using hydrogen is that the vehicle doesn't release carbon as petrol driven vehicles do. With a greatly reduced carbon footprint, these vehicles contribute less to the greenhouse effect and pollution. This benefit is not absolute; however, because fossil fuels are often burned to generate the hydrogen that is used in the vehicles. Cleaner ways of generating hydrogen in the future will possibly make the advantages more definite.
