Depends because all i know is that if you have rogers then texting and calling will count on your bill. But for bell they will ask for $200 then calling and texting is free after you pay the money.
you don't have to have calling on a free text app, however most free texting apps include free calls too. it shouldn't be much of a problem, just use the texting and not the calling
