Increase in thyroid hormone will lower TSH production, because there is a feedback loop between TSH that stimulates the production of thyroid hormone and the hormone that then will then regulate the stimulation of TSH so that thyroid hormone is not over produced.
When the level of the thyroxine increase, the level of the thyroid stimulating hormone decrease. So in turn the level of the thyroid hormone decreases. When the level of the thyroxine decrease, the level of the thyroid stimulating hormone increase. This in turn increase the level of the thyroxine. This explanation does not explain to how the level of the hormone is regulated at that particular level. But then this explanation satisfy most of the people.
Prolactin contributes to the increased growth and differentiation of the alveoli (milk producing tissues) and also influences differentiation of ductal structures. High levels of prolactin during pregnancy and breastfeeding also increase insulin resistance, increase growth factor levels (IGF-1) and modify lipid metabolism in preparation for breastfeeding.During lactation, prolactin is the main factor maintaining tight junctions of the ductal epithelium and regulating milk production through osmotic balance.
A hormone that regulates the hormone production of another endocrine gland.
Hormonal imbalances generally lead to an increase or decrease in estrogen or testosterone. Growth can also be effected by hormonal imbalances in the body.
serotonine
Thyroid releasing hormone (TRH) is released when thyroid hormones are low. Increased thyroid hormone production would serve to inhibit/decrease TRH release.
When calcium levels increase, parathyroid hormone decreases. When calcium levels decrease, parathyroid hormone increases. This is known as a negative feedback system.
Gastrin.
A small increase or decrease in hormone level can cause disease.

Once GnRH levels increase, FSH and LH levels will increase. During pregnancy, GnRH is not required which is responsible for the lack or absence of FSH and LH production. Prolactin can also decrease GnRH production which again will decrease FSH and LH. Luteinizing hormone (LH) levels can also be affected by another hormone called melatonin, which is regulated by the hypothalamus and released by the pineal gland in repsonse to the amount of broad-spectrum light that enters the eyes.
The hormone gastrin functions to increase HCl production in the stomach. Gastric is secreted by G cells.
In almost all cases HRT will decrease Cholesterol.
There is no "medicine" that is used for dairy cows to increase milk production. Only a particular growth hormone called rBGH or recominant Bovine Growth Hormone.
ACTH is stress hormone. It should decrease the oral secretions. Rather it will decrease the oral secretions.
The hormone that is injected into dairy cows for increased growth and milk production is called recombinant Bovine Somatotrophin Hormone or rBST, purchased as Posilac by American dairy farmers.
Increased secretion of saliva from the 3 salivary glands, increased secretion of the hormone gastrin in the stomach & also gastric juice production from gastric glands. General increase in secretions all along the GIT.
