For example people who drink alcohol are said to release their inhibitions because the alcohol stops them from being constrained by what their conscious thought tells them they should and should not do or say.

It becomes unhealthful when you're pressured into doing things like drugs or other dangerous things that can negatively affect the body.
People like to watch dangerous sports because they like the suspense that it gives them if we didn't have that we would just be boring people doing nothing.

In my experience, alcohol effects people differently. Some people are more social when drunk and some are not.
