Being a sufferer of kidney stones myself, I know that, if the stones are not causing blockage, then it is perfectly safe and un-harmful to the kidney to have three stones a year. However, if the stones are trying to pass at the same time, or are causing blockage, then a problem may occur and you should consult your doctor immediately to assess the problem.

There are four main types of kidney stones- (1) Calcium contaning stones-75% (2) Struvite stones( ammonium magnesium calcium phosphate stone)-15% (3) Uric acid stone-5% (4) Cystine stones-1%
I ordered Renavive because I have had kidney stones recurring for a number of years. They were painful but not so bad that I had to go to the hospital. I initially ordered a three month supply of Renavive (taking 2 a day). My kidney stone problem seemed to go away during this period. Then I stopped taking it and had several more attacks of kidney stones. So I reordered it and for a couple of months took 2 a day and now I take just a maintenance dose of one in the morning with a big glass of water and I haven't had any stones for probably 5 or 6 months. I can't speak for anyone else, but it seems to work for me and I probably will continue the 1-a-day dose for quite a while; small price to pay to not have that excruciating pain.
Pope Saint Pius V died on May 1, 1572 at the age of 68. He died of gravel (which is what they called kidney stones back then).

57 stones is a measure of weight around 400 to 500 lbs, and aggregate means 'in total'. eg if a weight was recorded several times, it would be the sum of all the recorded weights. example 6 stones 4 stones 3 stones 7 stones 20 stones 7 stones 10 stones the aggregate would be 57 Stones
I was wondering this myself. I'm 40 yrs old and just had my first kidney stone experience. HORRIBLE! So, I read that excess vitamin C can increase the likelihood of kidney stones. It got me thinking about all the vitamin water I drink... at least 1 16oz bottle per day, sometimes 2 for the past couple years. What can I say, I like the stuff! I've been drinking plain ole water since my kidney stone.

To remove stones from the kidney, most doctors advise lithotripsy which uses sound waves to blast the stone into smaller pieces that are easier to pass. This is better and much easier to recover from than the invasive method of cutting into the kidney and removing the stones.
