Yes because of the similarities of the monkeys in body and because they can be taught to do certain tasks we were able rest assured that survival was possible for humans.
Its a obvious answer and it is clear that we should have sent people like you without common sense out there instead. Unlikely that you could learn the simple tasks the monkeys did so you would have died but it would have been a great moment of lulz.
