It hurts more to get the top part of your ear than the bottom part, because there are more nerves. If you want multiple piercings on your ear, I would recommend to have it near the bottom.

Why does ear piercing hurt?
Ear Piercing hurts because they use a needle to make a hole in your ear but your nerves dont know that you want this done so they send signals to your brain telling your brain that something is inflicting damage upon you and your brain makes that part of you that is getting peirced send out signals which is pain. Obviously it shouldn't hurt if you get your ear numbed before peircing...
Is there a way to make your ears not hurt when you get them pierced?
Not really you could take medicine like Advil or something. But if you can't deal with 1 second of pinching and 1 minute of your ear being hot, I don't recommend getting your ears peirced.
