I have personally done this before, i got my right lip piercing re-pierced in the exact same spot and no it doesn't hurt, it feels the same as getting your first lip piercing.

no, it will just hurt more than the first time because your piercing through scar tissue not flesh

yes, but you have to wait for like a month or two after your body rejects it before you can repierce it. But when you repierce it again make sure to do it right.

No pain. No gain. Sorry mate but the best way to get it through is to get a cube of ice and hold it on your lip and push. If that doesnt work either repierce at a professional. Or let it go altogether. Option one is the best. Obviously. =D You could also get a safety pin and re-pierce yourself. Use the ice as recommended, shouldn't hurt really.

i just got my angel bites (double monroe) or a monroe & madonna, and it was a bit painful but enough to deal with it. it feels like a prolonged sharp pinch on your lip. but dont talk! or yell or anything! i said ow and the needle went completely through and he had to repierce it. but it was soooooooo worth it. the only annoying part is when youre eating and it starts to catch on your teeth

well i used to have my upper ear and that hurt bad. but i just got my lip and it really didnt hurt all just in the mornings. but it really is normal for it to hurt a few days later.
