The Andes weather can be very hot and humid. It has little rain, but that is what makes it the Andes.

The Andes Mountains are divided into two separate areas. Northern, and Southern.

The Northern Area is closer to the equator, so it's weather is mainly warm, with rain forests. Normally the area is hot and humid.

The Southern Area is closer to Antarctica, so it is generally more freezing.
