In my opinion, I think that Katniss shouldn't have had any kids even though Peeta wanted to. Katniss never struck me as the whole 'mother' type. Even though she took care of her sister (before she died :( ), I never really pictured her with babies. If say, the Hunger Games had continued, but instead of using children from the districts, they used children from the Capitol, people from the districts could've started a rebellion against Katniss for doing this to her kids, even though they weren't mad when it was other kids going in there. Katniss would've had to protect her kids from potential attackers. But none of this happened, so yes, having kids was a good decision for Katniss.
