No, laminates cannot have wax or any other topical treatment for a shine. It can be very difficult to remove once applied.
If your laminate didn't shine out of the box, nothing will really shine it. A clean floor shines more then a dirty one. Use a good laminate cleaner, like Pergo's.
To make laminate floors shine, you can clean them regularly with a mixture of water and vinegar, use a microfiber mop for gentle cleaning, and avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that can damage the surface. Additionally, you can use a laminate floor polish or shine product specifically designed for laminate flooring to enhance its shine.
To effectively shine dull laminate floors, start by sweeping or vacuuming to remove any debris. Then, mop the floors with a mixture of warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid using excessive water, as it can damage the laminate. Once the floors are clean, use a laminate floor polish or shine product specifically designed for laminate flooring to restore shine. Apply the product according to the manufacturer's instructions, and buff the floors with a microfiber cloth for a glossy finish.
If the laminate didn't shine out of the box there is no viable option to shine it. Products like Murphy's oil soap only create a mess. The way these floors are constructed they are not easily repaired or modified like hardwood.

No! It is not so difficult. Laminate flooring is a beautiful, low maintenance, long-lasting flooring. There are several simple steps that you can take to keep your laminate flooring clean and to ensure that you get many years of service from it. Simply dust mop or vacuum with a soft brush or wood floor accessory to keep your laminate floor clean from dust, dirt or grit. A damp cloth or mop can be used without damage to the laminate flooring panels, but do not use excessive water. Dry the floor thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth. Blot up spills or water from wet feet or footwear immediately with a clean, dry cloth, sponge, or paper towel. Do not allow excess liquid to remain on the surface of your laminate floor. Do not use soap-based detergents, abrasive cleaners, or combined “clean and shine” products on your laminate floor. Do not use steel wool or other scouring pads that may scratch laminate panels. Do not wax or polish your laminate flooring. Do not steam clean or use chemicals that may damage the laminate flooring surface. For stubborn spots or stains on laminate flooring use acetone or nail polish remover on stubborn substances such as tar, asphalt, paint, or oil. Then wipe clean with a damp cloth. To reduce shine on laminate floors, you can try using a mixture of vinegar and water for cleaning, as vinegar can help remove residue that causes shine. Additionally, you can use a specially formulated laminate floor cleaner that is designed to reduce shine. Avoid using oil-based or wax-based products, as these can create a shiny residue on laminate floors.
To restore the shine of your laminate floor, you can clean it with a mixture of water and vinegar, use a laminate floor cleaner, or try a commercial laminate floor polish. Regular cleaning and maintenance will help keep your floor looking shiny and new.
You can but it isn't going to do much, laminate is designed to have a low luster/Shine and the mop & glow will likely look more streaky than shiny.. you are trying to shine a floor that isn't supposed to shine... It will leave a heavy residue and make the floor look extremely dirty.
You shouldn't use any wet products on laminate floors.
No, the oil will only sit on the top and cause a dirty grime to appear in a very short time. Then you will not be able to clean it off, because most products that will take off oils are not safe for laminate....and most of all, it would be very slick.
Generally, you can't. Laminate is not like hardwood. It is only a picture of wood with a plastic surface. If it didn't shine when you bought it, there is little you can safely do to make it shine later. Never use any kind of wax or hardwood floor shine on a laminate. This will simply leave you with a mess!
