You must put it in you hair and then either....
A. blow dry your hair completely dry or..
B. go out and lay in the sun for about 30mins...
and your hair will be lighter...it can damage your hair tho..so be careful.

∙ 15y agoLemon juice does lighten freckles. I have red hair and was always very freckled. I used lemon juice on my face and chest and it's done a great job of lightening and evening my skin tones. It does do a job of drying out your skin though so be sure to moisturize.

∙ 13y agoyes!! It can. But, lemon juice has a bad reaction to the sun and can turn your skin black for months!! This information was given to me by my dermatologist. It also helps with acne scars, hyperpigmentation, etc.. Lemon juice has AHA alpha hydroxy acids which cleanse the skin and help the skin renew itself... Some people reccommend it for scarring but i dont think juice will actually repair your skin damage..
