How does pollution affect your daily life?

Pollution is a global epidemic and does not only have ill effects on the environment but also has ill effects on the body. Cities have the highest instances of pollution and through the cities of the world people are being constantly exposed to toxins in the pollution, having multiple negative effects on the body.

There are many types of pollution that we are exposed to on a daily basis - types of pollution in the air and in the water. Six types of pollution can affect our daily lives including water pollution, land pollution, noise pollution, air pollution and thermal and radioactive pollution.

There are thousands of negative affects of littering; here are a few...

• It looks horrible
• If it's recyclable, it is not being recycled
• It makes others have to clean up others own mess
• It pollutes the environment - but if you think it doesn't matter because it will have nothing to do with you when you pass away, that is WRONG! It is very unfair on your children, grandchildren and future generations.
• It destroys natural habitats, wildlife AND nature itself! Without animals, human beings would NOT be able to live. It is a cycle
• It would make you lazy and would turn into a habit
• The aroma (smell) of the pollution/litter can cause cancer.
