Sadly, no. There is a way, however, to run SS 9.8 on Vista and and Windows 7. First you must not use the CD's Autoplay feature as you did in previous Windows editions. Instead, open the CD in a file browser and run "setup.exe" as administrator.
Don't forget, Microsoft has eliminated the small program Winhelp32.exe in all version of Windows past the release of Vista so SmartSuite's online help files won't work as automatically as they once did. After receiving an error message box that says "macro failed to run," just click "OK and use the help files as normal

Windows XP: Start>Run>Type cmd Windows Vista: Start>Type cmd in search box Windows 95/98/ME Start>Run>Type command
While I see no particular reason why you couldn't, the vast difference in hardware requirements and supported devices make finding a system that would both run Windows 95 to a useful extent and provide acceptable performance for Windows Vista extremely difficult. For instance, Windows 95 has sever problems with larger amounts of RAM, and probably won't boot with more than 490 MB installed (you can work around it after Windows 95 is installed.) Few graphics cards support both Windows 95 and Windows Vista (the GeForce 6 series is the only exception I can think of). USB support is only found in certain versions of Windows 95, and none at all for USB 2.0. Windows 95 doesn't support SATA controllers. Most wireless cards won't work. And so on, and so on...Bottom line: if you absolutely must run Windows 95, do it in a virtual machine.
probably no, because window 95 games doesn't know window vista....but if the game is recently updated, then yes. depends what game are you playing
Use the compatibility mode win 95...

I have pacman adventures in time and it works very well on my vista home basic ... I love this game
xp, vista, 7, both 64 and 32 bit versions. Also all versions of server 2003, 2008, and 2008R2. Basically you cant run windows 98 or 95.
it should run on vista, you may have to run it in compatibility mode for windows 95 or 98, but it should offer you little issues as it is a Microsoft program, as is windows vista. The only advantage to installing Office 97 (I've only just learnt about running programmes in compatibility mode) is that there may be some useful fonts in there which are missing from later versions, but you could get fonts out of the cab folders, anyway. I considered using my old, paid for, Office 97 CD on my new Vista laptop rather than paying for the trial version of MS Office that's on it - but being skint and still wanting an up-to-date office programme, I downloaded OpenOffice instead. Why not?
No it will not cause it not to run.
Most such games will not work on Vista, it's a well known issue and was addressed by community many times. The issue is not solved, and it's not planned to.
Magic: The Gathering was released for Windows 95. While most games released for Windows required at least Windows 95, a bug in the installer for this game required the user be running precisely Windows 95; users of later versions of Windows had to use a compatibility mode. In subsequent versions, the problem with the installer is fixed. The game runs on Windows 95 and may run on 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7, depending on the hardware configuration.
