Hopefully not!Well..If she does die, I will stop watching the show! I think that if they kill off a main character such a Lynette then the show will loose viewers and start going downhill.

Im sure im not the only one who would stop watching the show if any of the housewifes die.

I think Marc cherry would be making a VERY big mistake killing off one of the five housewives- The show is about them so therefore without all five the show wouldn't be worth watching, especially without Lynette- She ma fav lol!!!

Im a massive fan and addicted to Desperate Housewives and even me who watches the DVD's everyday and counts the days until the next season starts would stop watching :(! Sad but TRUE!!

If you consider Edie Britt a protagonist then yes, she gets zapped by power pole. Other than that no some have come close but they wont kill off Lynette, Gabby, Susan, or Bree
