Some people look very pretty without make-up. If you do not already look pretty, there is a chance that make-up can make you look better, especially if it is skillfully applied. But beware. Too much make-up will look very unapealing

No. If you apply makeup right, it accentuates you're facial features. You only look plastic if you wear too much of makeup or you apply really bad colors that don't make your face look better. You might also look plastic if you use the make up specifically to do so, such as in the case of the "living dolls" who purposely use make up to make themselves look like dolls.
