Did Mars have life

no ACTULLY,maybe before life on earth,when the sun was hotter,and that may mean that mars had the same temp. than earths then.Plus there is froezen caps on mars,and maybe then it was water.If there was life,it was extinct for 100000000000000000 years.by then,if there was life,there would be no remains cause it would be so old.

It would be unlikely, and so far, none of our robot probes have identified any life on Mars.

However, one of the probes may have found traces of methane in the Martian atmosphere. On Earth, we would be fairly sure that only a biological process could generate methane, so scientists got a little excited when this was announced.

Further research will be needed to figure out where the methane came from, if indeed it was methane.

that is yet unknown there may be life forms that you find in caves but that's about it.

ya but you need to bring a hole bunch of air and water and have a lot of money just to get there, and you will need a lot of cable if you want to watch tv or have power. there is no way that you could live on mars.

Life on Earth is found in the strangest spots. From bacteria thriving on the acidic boiling water found near underwater volcanic vents to tiny insects and things living in sulfur-rich regions miles deep down in caves... Because these living things live in such extreme temperatures in such unfriendly areas, it is safe to assume that life COULD in theory be possible on any world, specially adapted to that world.

However, any life on Mars would be microbes and bacteria, and it is unlikely particularly because the Mars rovers Spirit and Opportunity have made an extensive search and not found it. But Mars contains water, the main life-giving element, in VERY trace amounts. It is possible for life forms that evolved around Mars's atmosphere and breathe a different air composition than us to exist, particularly around these small water supplies.

Life as we know it or have imagined it, such as "little green men" and "flying saucers", are NOT possible on Mars, as in order for them to exist we would have already found them.

So the answer is yes and no depending on whether you consider microbes and bacteria alive. Fact of the matter is, they are, so yes...
